Addy was in Uganda to take a close look at the work of the Liliane Fonds. ‘My beloved friend Sandra Reemer, who died more than a year ago, was the ambassador for the Liliane Fonds. I fell in love with Africa. This resulted in a new line under the name ‘Out of Africa’. Among other things, I designed a special blouse for the collection, with the colorful splendor of wild flowers from the African landscape. ‘ Unlike other years, Van den Krommenacker chose not to immediately come up with a complete collection of ‘Out of Africa’, but to surprise the public with new items in the coming period. One of the other items contains a new print, for which he collaborated with fashion illustrator Linda Zoon.
